Solymar Hotel

Solymar Hotel is located in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island and has a rich history of hospitality and service in the Galapagos Islands. The hotel had humble beginnings; it changed first from a storeroom to a bungalow for scientists visiting the Charles Darwin Research Station. As demand increased so did the size of the hotel. There are 17 comfortable and modern rooms in the main sea-front tower, each with air-conditioning, a telephone, a bathroom, and a private balcony which allows one to enjoy a spectacular ocean view, first-class facilities (pool, Jacuzzi, restaurant and bar), and the service and attention of a marvelous staff.
