5 Day Galapagos Luxury Tour

At Baltra airport (GPS), you will meet our English speaking guide who will take you to Santa Cruz. If you arrive before 02:00 PM you will have lunch in the highlands of the island. If you arrive later, you will only visit the highlands. In the highlands of Santa Cruz you will visit the privately owned farm where the giant tortoises are found. The giant Galapagos tortoise (Chelonoidis nigra) weighs up to 250 kg (550 lb). It is one of the largest species. At the end of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel, where you can rest.

After tasting a delicious breakfast, you will go on a small luxury yacht to one of the islands surrounding Santa Cruz. Depending on availability you will go to North Seymour, Bartolome, South Plazas or Santa Fe. Depending on the islands it takes 20 min – 2 hours of sailing to get there. Lunch is served on board.

North Seymur.– It is an uninhabited island. Its formation is related to an uplift of the underwater layer that resulted in a highly eroded flat rock surrounded by hazards. Here, the marine base is still evident, giant rocks and shells are found everywhere. This small island is one of the most important fishing grounds for seabirds.

Bartolome.- This small island is located in the center of the archipelago. The diversity and richness of this island is related to the upwelling phenomenon. There are great opportunities to snorkel with penguins and sea lions on a golden sand beach at the foot of the popular Pinnacle Rock.

South Plaza.- This is another of the uninhabited islands of Galapagos, it is one of the smallest and, depending on the season, the most colorful. These islands are interesting formations without a volcano resulting from an uplifting from underwater. You will find colonies of sea lions, land and hybrid iguanas.

Santa Fe.- The oldest island of all (4.5 million years). This island is a very rare formation located in the middle of Santa Cruz and San Cristobal islands and it holds a beautiful turquoise lagoon on its bay, an often visited historic anchoring point. It was called Barrington because of the Brithish Admiral.

On this third day you will have the opportunity to take the Bay Tour, where you will visit the highlights of Puerto Ayora by boat. Your first destination will be La Lobería, then you will go in the direction of Punta Caamaño islet. Here you will snorkel with sea lions and a great variety of fish. In addition, you will go through a channel where you will be able to observe blue sharks and blue-footed boobies. Your adventure will continue with a visit to the Canal del Amor and finally, Los Perros Beach. Here you will observe many colonies of crayfish and many large marine iguanas. For the return, you will take the public speedboat to Isabela.

After a revitalizing breakfast, at 11:00 AM you will go by boat to Los Túneles. This place is considered one of the most beautiful for snorkeling in Isabela. This activity will take place in an area with an extension of 800 meters and an average temperature of 20 °C. There are many marine birds such as flamingos, blue-footed boobies and the magnificent frigate bird.

This is the last day of your 5 day luxury tour in Galapagos. After a nice breakfast, you take a short transfer of about 5 min to Isabela airport, here you will take a small plane with a capacity of 9 people to Baltra airport. The flight time is about 40 minutes. The tour will end upon arrival at Baltra airport.
