Itinerary

Day 1BALTRA AIRPORT – SANTA CRUZ HIGHLANDS

Your first day of adventure begins, once at the Baltra airport, you will meet your English speaking driver who will take you to the port of Puerto Ayora. On the way, you will stop in the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, where you will see the famous Galapagos giant tortoises in their natural habitat. After checking in at your hotel, you will have a well deserved rest and some time to explore Santa Cruz on your own.

Day 2ISABELA ISLAND – TINTORERAS ISLET

Your day will start very early, at 06:00, you will take a public speedboat to Isabela Island. After checking in at the hotel, you will depart for the Tintoreras islet. The Tintoreras rock formations are located off Isabela Island, and are home to two different species of sharks. Here you will snorkel. 

Activity.- Exploring, Snorkeling, Wildlife Watching.

Day 3ISABELA ISLAND – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND

This third day of adventure, you will have the morning free to walk around Isabela Island, the town of Puerto Villamil or enjoy the beach. You will have your snorkeling equipment available at all times, so you can decide where and what to explore. In the afternoon, you will take a public speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. You will also have the afternoon free. You can take a self-guided walk to the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you can learn more about giant tortoises and other unique species, and visit a beach near Puerto Ayora.

 

Activity.- Sightseeing, Snorkeling, Wildlife Watching.

Transport.- Boat

Day 4SANTA FE ISLAND

After a revitalizing breakfast, you will depart by boat to Santa Fe Island, where you will have the opportunity to observe colonies of pelicans, seagulls and, if you are lucky, blue footed boobies. In Santa Fe Bay you will be able to snorkel and observe marine life. You will have a box lunch on board, and then continue on to Playa Escondida, a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. Here you can swim and snorkel again. You may also choose to take a walk and observe the marine iguana colonies and their natural habitat. You can enjoy the beach until approximately 3:30 pm before returning to Santa Cruz.

* According to Galapagos National Park regulations and availability, Santa Fe Island visit can be changed to another uninhabited island.

Day 5BALTRA - AIRPORT

Today is your last day of adventure, after tasting the farewell breakfast, a guide will take you to Baltra Airport, so you can take your flight to Quito or Guayaquil. The tour will end upon arrival at the airport.
